I am a custom portrait photographer in Twin Falls, Idaho. I love creating intentional high school senior and family portraits.

Above technique or lighting and posing, it's most important for me to connect with my subjects. What I create is not about pushing a button or having a nice camera. It's not about a location, light source, photoshop tricks or what lens I use, it's about how I use them to bring out the best in you. A photograph in not always about what you look like on the outside, it's about how you feel on the inside. I believe in creative chaos and flying by the seat of my pants. Maybe I just like making a mess while in a creative whirlwind. That is my happy place. The challenge of creating something that was once only an idea or concept in my head is exciting and keeps me ready for the next days adventure. 

I believe that photography is about that final beautiful printed wall portrait, or gorgeous handmade album of images that tell a story. I do not believe in digital images just sitting on a phone or hard drive. I believe that you are worth so much more than social media likes. I believe that self worth is the most important thing you can own. I believe you should create "On Purpose". The best question you can ask yourself before you hire any photographer is: "What is the my purpose for having these images created?"  Ultimately you are investing in your image. Not the piece of paper it's printed on.

My favorite quote sums up my reason for why I practice photography: “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” -Maya Angelou  I truly believe that if you feel incredible, you look incredible, so if you leave a session with me feeling better about yourself than when you arrived, then my goal was truly achieved.
